Christmas lights on a house next to Murphy Oil Corporation in Meraux, Louisiana located just south of the stretch between Baton Rouge and New Orleans along the river, with a large concentration of chemical and oil companies referred to some as "Petrochemical Corridor," and others as "Cancer Alley," due to an increased risk to cancer due to the emissions from the numerous chemicals emitted by the facilities.
