Carla Alleman in front of her 'dream' home in Bayou Corne that she no longer lives in. When the Bayou Corne sinkhole opened up on August 3, 2012 a mandatory evacuation was called and many of the towns residents left. Texas Brine drilled too close to the edge of a salt mine causing it to collapse and cause an industrial disaster.
