Fracking Barnett Shale - 15.jpg

Feb. 4, 2014, Denton Texas, Smoke rises during flowback at an EagleRidge hydraulic fracturing site that is approximately 200 feet from a housing development.
In Denton there is a 1200 foot set back rule for drill sites except for sites that are exempt including two owner by EagleRidge Energy that are on either side of a subdivision at Bonnie Brea Street and Vintage Boulevard.
The citizens in Denton are trying to pass an initiative that would ban fracking in the city completely.
