Hurricane Harvey Floods Texas61.jpg
Days after Hurricane Harvey first made landfall in Texas, the entrance to the Woodlands ll subdivision in the Gessner Road and Bayou Shadows area, in Houston, Texas remained underwater. The flooding in this part of Houton was impacted by Harvey's rainstomr and water released from the Addicks Dam. When the Addicks Reservoir started to over flow the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers began releasing water from the Addicks Dam, which had already started to overflow.
