The Empty Sky 9/11 Memorial 15.jpg
Family members of those lost in the World Trade Center take a first walk through the Empty Sky Memorial 9/11 at Liberty State Park in New Jersey on September 10th 2011 just before the tenth anniversary of 9/11. They use
charcoal and paper are provided by volunteers to make rubbings of the name of their lost loved one.
The memorial is two 30-Ft rectangular towers 208 feet by 10 inches long, the width of the World Trade Center towers and with the names of the 746 New Jerseyans who perished after the terrorist attacks on 9/11, 2001 etched in stainless steel.
