Blackhawks fly in pairs in Iraq. This one is flown by a member of the 1-244 Air Helicopter Battalion ( part of the 34th Air Brigade) which is made up of companies from the Louisiana and Florida National guards. They conduct air assault and air movement operation including acting as a taxi service around Baghdad flying a ring around the bases before returning to their hub in Balad.
