Nathan Durapau, was injured on the off ramp of the West Bank Expressway. This image was taken before he was tackled by the Jefferson Parish Police as the protest was breaking up. The protest was organized by the families of Modesto Reyes, Keeven Robinson, Darivi Robertson,Chris Joseph, Armond Jairon Brown Eric Harris and Leo Brooks - black men killed by the Jefferson Parish Police since 2018, 5 people were arrested. Family members are calling for accountability from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office and for the officers to be required to wear body cameras.
