The Holy Rosary Cemetery next to the Union Carbide Complex, now owned by Dow Chemical Company in Taft, Louisiana near the banks of the Mississippi River along the stretch between Baton Rouge and New Orleans referred to as the "Petrochemical Corridor" by industry and "Cancer Alley," by many fenceline communities, due to the increased cancer risk in the regions from the large number of refineries and petrochemical plants that line the river.
