Huricane Harvey Aftermath 008.jpg
Days after Hurricane Harvey first made landfall in Texas, homes in the Woodlands ll subdivision off Gessner Road and Bayou Shadows, in Houston, Texas remained underwater. The flooding in this part of Houston was impacted by Harvey's rainstorm and water released from the Addicks Dam. When the Addicks Reservoir started to over flow the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers began releasing water from the Addicks Dam, which had already started to overflow.
