The ‘A-Team’, a group of friends working for
Louisiana Environmental Action Network (LEAN), gutting homes damaged by the 1000-year flood that hit Southern Louisiana in August.
LEAN is part of a program set up by Togheter Baton ROuge that offered 100 living wage recovery jobs. The team is being paid $15 an hour.
The young men on the “A-team’ were all impacted by the flood too- most lost their homes and belongings in the flood. This set of photos is the crew in action gutting Cynthia Pierce's home in Baton Rouge.
