In Eight Mile. Alabama, Mobile Gas, now owned by Sempra Energy spilled 6000 Pounds of Mercaptan in 2008. The mercaptan continues to pollute the air eight years later. Many in the community have been sick since the air started smelling like written eggs, years back.
