  • Flooding in front of  Heights at Park Row apartment building on Houston's west side across from the city's Energy Corridor. The area remained flooded days after Hurricane Harvey's rain stopped. Floodwater here was caused by the release of water from the Addicks Reservoir. An oil sheen coated the top of the water. Cranes in the backround are a reminder that much of Houston was developed and goes on being developed with few regualtions was  factor many say contributed to the vast flooding.
