The Louisiana coast land loss is approximately one football field every 38 minutes. These are Aerial photos of Southern Louisiana. Southwings.org Conservation through aviation , provided the flights that made these photos possible.

This staggering rate of land loss has been brought on by climate change,  subsidance. and coastal erosion accelerated by human activities, including water diversion projects and damage done by the oil and gas industry.
