July 2 2015, back room in Club Desire still standing nearly ten years after Hurricane Katrina-,though not for long. The city plans to tear down the former music hall where many of New Orleans’ music legends played including Fats Domino.
Many had asked the city to restore the club, badly damaged by Hurricane Katrina, as historic landmark, but that will not happen now.
