Grace Welch with her cousin Tracie Verdin and Josh Bergeron and all Pointe-au-Chien Indians living in Pointe aux Chene have been shrimpers their whole lives. They signed on to work for BP putting out boom out since no other work is available . The first day on the job, all the boats were called back due to inclement weather. All the workers who singed on to work for BP gather under a raised building at Point-aux-Chene's boat launch waiting for the rain to let up.
