An indian sculpture in the Verdin's home in Pointe aux Chene, The Verdins are part of the Pointe au Chien Indian tride. The families livelihoods are all based on fishing. Shrimp and crab season was canceled on May 29th when oil and dispersant made it into the nearby waters.
