A fishing boat owned by members of Pointe-aux-Chien Indian living in Pointe aux Chene being used as a "vessel of opportunity" to put boom out for BP returning to port after a rain storm. Crab and shrimp season were officially closed on May 29th, 2010, due to the BP oil spill that is making its' way into the lakes and bayous close to Pointe-au-Chien.
