Haley Verdin, a nine year old Pointe-aux-Chien Indian,plays with a doll in her bedroom. She is haunted by images of dead dolphins she saw on line connected to the BP oil leak. She like her sisters have lost there jobs working for the cousin Grace Welch who used to take them out to help her shrimp when they were not in school. Shrimp and crab season was canceled on May 29th when oil and dispersant made it into the nearby waters.
