Covington Louisiana, March, 12, 2016, Norris Willaims leaves Tallow Creek in a friends boat as waters continued to rise. evacuate the Tallow Creek subdivision by boat Saterday afternoon.14 inches of rain fell in less than 24 hours, after three days of intermittent rain, causing flash floods. The Tchefuncte River and Bogue Falaya River
crested on Saturday morning but the flood event continued into the night for those in Tallow Creek.
