New York City , New York, November 23, Table full of books from Occupy Wall Street's “People’s Library” recovered after the raid on the November 15th raid of the OWS encampment, at a press conference held by Norman Siegel. Over 4000 Books and Documents were destroyed by the NYPD and the Dept. of Sanitation during the raid at Zuccotti Park. Norman Siegel, the National Lawyers Guild and caretakers of the “People’s Library” called on Mayor Bloomberg to replace all of the books destroyed and apologize for their destruction.
